The Animal Antics Collection of Funny Pet Pictures

Our Animal Antics collection of funny pet pictures have been utilized as greeting cards, coffee mugs, gift books, calendars and many, many other products. We have over two hundred images in the collection that features cats, dogs and other animals in humorous anthropomorphic poses and situations. Included in this collection is the Maude series of images featuring one cat (actually a male cat named Roswell), who is wise beyond her years and not at all bashful about sharing her wit and wisdom with us as well as her feline friends.

Greeting Cards, Paper Products and Advertising

Originally created for greeting cards, we now create them with the possibility of any stock photo use, paper products, editorial, or even advertising in mind. While the earliest images tend to be more appropriate for smaller uses, the later images are often over fifty megabytes in size and are appropriate for everything up to and including bus posters and billboards.

Anthropomorphic Pet Pictures

Nobody has the experience of creating intricate anthropomorphic pet images that we do. From big time cat wrestling to doggie tattoo parlors to latte cats we have create more humorous digitally composite animal pictures than anyone, and have been using Photoshop since 1990!  Our Animal Antics gift books have been published in seven languages, our cards are popular around the world. Our funny animal pictures have graced the cover of National Geographic for Kids and been profiled in other publications from Australia, England, Germany, Sweden, as well as in the U.S. and other countries.

Preparation, Patience and Complex Images

It requires preparation and patience to successfully create these complex images. We start with layouts, carefully choose the best animal talent for each role and capture the images with careful attention to the details needed to best create these new digital photo realities. By handling both the photography and imaging in-house, we are able to avoid communication problems between photographer and imager as well as insure the most efficient use of our time.

Animal Trainers and Stress-Free Animal Talent

Our team includes the animal trainers that we have worked with for many years. Happy, un-stressed and well cared for animals make for successful and stress-free shoots. Whenever possible we arrange to have back-up look-alike animal talent, but in any case, always keep the welfare of our animal talent foremost in mind. Our trainers know which animals are right for which job; which cats don’t mind being handled and which do, what dogs are up to a given task, what best motivates each animal, and how far we can take our shoots without stressing the “talent”.

Lions, Tigers and No Bears (Oh Well…)

In addition to cats, dogs, ducks, chickens, cows and even reindeer, we have worked with Lions, Tigers, and, well, no bears yet. We have created elephants walking on tightropes, A Lion as the King of Beasts seated on a jeweled throne, and cows standing on high Himalayan peaks.  We have created giant shark-eating fish and an infinite sea of shoulder-to-shoulder rabbits. Raining cats and dogs? We did that one in 1992. Flying Pigs? Ditto. A deer in the headlights? Done!  If we haven’t already created a photographic reality of your idea, we are ready and well prepared to do so now!
