Slow Motion Video of ice cubes falling into a glass of water

In this slow motion video an ice cube falls into a glass of water creating a splash that shoots up and out of the glass. This video is about refreshment, purity, anticipation and satisfaction. Those concepts, and many more, can be illustrated with this mesmerizing video. The attention-grabbing power of ultra slow motion also makes this video clip great for enhancing all manner of advertisements, promotions and editorial content. A moment or two of this slow motion wonder will add impact to any video to do with food, cooking, luxury pampering and beverage subjects.

Simple, Graphic and iIdeal for stock video clips

The simple graphic look of this slow motion footage makes it easy to use for credits, titles or backgrounds for other elements. The clean look maximizes impact and minimizes conflicts with accompanying visuals be they still or motion. The ice cube and the water look pure and pristine making this clip great for topics about purity and the quality of natural goodness. Seldom has a glass of water looked more refreshing!

Shooting Ultra Slow Motion With the Phantom HD Camera

Shooting HD video with the Phantom HD camera, at 1000 frames per second, was made much more efficient by the hardware/softwar solution offered by GVS Systems. We used the GVS 9000 2XU 444 VTR. We were able to shoot all day without worrying about storage space. After completing a capture we could review it in just seconds. The GVS system did our color correction and file conversion on the fly! One kind of funny problem we ran into: several times, when the ice cube (actually acrylic models) would hit the side of the glass, the glass would break!
