An Escher Stairway Leading To Nowhere

An Escher-like stairway on top of a tower rising up through a cloudscape finds an Asian American Businessman standing and contemplating the useless and ineffectual task before him; the task of climbing the stairs that only return him to where he started leading only to stagnation and the status quo. These impossible steps are known as Penrose stairs. This photo stands out by the unique nature of the stairway's optical illusion. This image can illustrate many concepts from the Peter Principle to beaurocratic inefficiencies to discrimination and hopelessness. It is a great stock photograph to help businesses get their message across about how their products and or services can help us all become more effective in both business and life. This Escher-inspired photo can be used to demonstrate mid-life crisis, political ineffectiveness and wasted efforts. Additional uses include showing challenge, difficulties and adversity. The image has both lifestyle and business applications galore. I used Photoshop to composite the image together.
