We have all heard the saying "It Isn't Over Until The Fat Lady Sings", and this image is the visual incarnation of that term. My associate, Drew Kelly, came up with the idea. We arranged to rent a theater in Buenos Aires. Once we reached Argentina we worked with a local producer, Paula Zacharias, to cast the shot and procure the necessary costuming. We brought our own ProFoto Studio Strobes with us for lighting. One great thing about the 7B packs we used is that we don't have to worry about overloading circuits or the differing voltages in foreign countries. We wanted to really capture the spirit of the cliche. That required a viking helmet and a cape...what we all hold in our minds is the stero typical Opera singer.
