Money Volcano: Coins flow like lava while a volcano of money erupts in a cloud of smoke and dollars.

A volcano, made of money, spews out smoke, dollars and coins while a lava flow of coins runs down the the volano's flank.

Money Eruption: A volcano of dollars spews out more dollars and coins flow like lava down the mountain side.

An eruption of money bursts forth from a volcano made of dollars in a symbolic and captivating image of financial import. Does this photo represent disruption in the money markets? Does it indicate the volatility of the financial institutions? Perhaps it shows an abundance of wealth, or shows the money is yet another form of natural resource. One of the beautiful things about this currency photo is that it can be a positive or negative image depending on the use, headlines and body copy. This photo can be used for banking, to illustrate cash flow, for backgrounds in dealing with financial issues, and for both small and large business communication needs. Investment companies can use it, the stock market, retirement plans, pension funds, and all manner of investment counselors and advisers.

Timely Images of Money for Editorial, Promotional, Advertising and Corporate Use

Images of money are always in demand, and there is always a short supply of truly great photos dealing with monetary instruments such as currency, coins, and bearer bonds. How many times have we seen the same old images of happy people with fists full of dollars, or dollars raining down from above, or even stacks of money? Yes, these images are useful in some applications, but there is a large demand for photography of money that goes beyond such basic photos. An ocean or sea of money, for example, can provide compelling imagery to help those with messages of wealth abundance, or capital opportunity. A tidal wave of dollars can make a great editorial about the availability of funds or changes in monetary policy by the feds (federal reserve bank). Changes in interest rates can affect the money supply and subsequently there is an ongoing need for such photography.

The Volatility of Money, Changes in Monetary Policy, and Photos of Dollars

The volatility of money and changes in monetary policy, along with fluctuating interest rates, international currency fluctuations and government monetary policies can all be demonstrated with this image of dollars, coins and currency, spewing forth from a smoking volcano composed of U.S. Currency (dollars). To create this compelling photo I used $1,200.00 in one dollar bills to create various "carpets" or "blankets" of money. I also used about a gallon of coins, pennies, quarters, nickels, and dimes to fashion a river of money for the lava flow. In Berkeley, California I shot steam coming from an industrial stack. I used Photoshop to composite all of the elements together into what might possibly be the world's only photograph of a volcanic eruption of money.
