Are these house cats or cougars? To create this image each element had to be photographed separately from the bar, to the drinks, to each limb and part of the cats. We first sketch a layout to insure that we have not only the positions correctly, but also to keep track of the photography. It is very important to get every needed part and position because the Photoshop work is done days after the photography when it would be too late to go back and get missing shots. When creating these Animal Antics images we photograph the pets for a dozen images at a time. It generally takes three to four days of shooting animals and then three or four days to shoot the various props and locations. It takes about a day for the digital compositing (Photoshop) work for each final image.
