I often feel distressed at the multitude of Charities and individuals who all seem to want something from me. This image symbolized that overwhelmed feeling by showing a businessman with a confused and helpless expression as he is surrounded by hands reaching out to him in need. This concept stock photo can illustrate many themes based around ideas that range from charity to need to resources to over commitment.

Creating Concept Stock Photos Using Photoshop And Digital Compositing

This is a great illustration of an image that can be created that not only serves its purpose extremely well, but is relatively efficient to create. As I shoot various stock photos I am building up a library of parts. For this picture I photographed the model and the hands of two other models. When it came time to put the image together I turned to my library of parts to find additional arms and hands. The compositing was a lot of work, but probably more efficient in the long run than hiring all of those models and then trying to arrange them so that all of their arms were in the right position for the final image. For some images getting in the camera is the most efficient way to work. For others, such as this one, digital image is a much wiser choice of execution.
