Funny Holstein Cow Pictures; These three Holsteins weren't actually on those peaks (as if I have to tell you that), I actually photographed one cow in a feedlot. This image was actually inspired by the Turkeys that roost in Oak trees around my house. Every evening, at dusk, the turkeys, one by one, fly up into the trees. They tend to crash land in the trees with a great deal of clamor, noise, and swaying branches. It is such an unlikely scenario that for years I wanted to somehow capture it on, well, pixels I guess. Never could. However, that scene did inspire me to create this unlikely scenario of Holstein Cows perched on peaks and watching a beautiful sunrise.

How To Shoot Funny Cow Pictures

Here is how we did it. That cow then, through Photoshop, became three cows. The peaks were actually rocks of the coast of Northern California. The sunrise was shot on a road trip through Arizona. The Cows, well, I photographed one cow in a feedlot and used Photoshop to turn it into three cows.
