Life is a journey in which we all make countless decisions, choices that will determine the course of our existence. This stock photo of a long road leading to a junction, to a fork, is a metaphor for our lives and the decisions that we have to make. Will we take the more traveled lane, or will we choose the road less traveled? The same symbols work for business as well. Stock photos of roads illustrating the need for choice can help such entities get their messages across with impact and effectiveness. Creating A Compelling Stock Photo Illustrating Choice And The Need For Decisions.

To create spot-on stock photos to add viability and impact to messages I often turn to Photoshop for new photographic realities. In this case I used one road shot and one sky shot. The road was making a sweep left turn, near Death Valley, CA. I duplicated the road and flipped it, then used a layer mask in Photoshop to blend the new layer into the original. Now we have a fork in the road, a junction and intersection at which a decision must be made; and we have a compelling photo to help get our messages, for business and life, across.John Lund's Stock Photos.
