This is one cool cat, clubbing in a disco, leaning on a boom box while wearing shades. This is a happening club with its multitude of colored lights, disco ball and pulsing colored dance floor. This orange tabby was created by Stephanie D. Roeser and John Lund as part of the Animal Antics collection of funny pet pix. Commissioned by Marian Heath Greetings, this image is also available for stock photo uses as well as imprinted on holiday gifts such as funny coffee mugs, mouse pads, calendars and even clocks!

Crazy Orange Tabby Cats

Is this crazy orange tabby cat impersonating Elvis or emulating the movie "Grease"? One thing is for sure, this cat does not lack for self-confidence! Confidence and style are his trademarks! From his cool sunglasses to his cocky stance as he leans casually against a huge boombox, this feline is where its at!

Creating Funny and Cool Cat Photos

To create our cool and funny cat photos we shoot a lot of photos! For this cat in a nightclub image we photographed the orange tabby in my studio, shooting several hundred shots. We photographed his face, his arms, legs, body and tail...each separately. We created the floor through a combination of a photo of colored gels lit from underneath, and extensive Photoshop (CS5) modification. We also photographed the boom box, and the disco ball mirror. The out of focus lights were from some photos I shot at night in Times Square, New York. This image, a collaboration between Stephanie D. Roeser and me, took almost two days of Photoshop work to complete.
