Cat In Climbing Gear After Birthday Cake

In this funny cat photo a cat uses climbing gear to climb a kitchen counter to get to a Birthday Cake. The image can be licensed for stock use. Only trained professional animals are used for this animal antics series of photographs. Making images such as this one can be a complex and slow process. We usually photograph the animals one or two days, shooting enough animals to supply our needs for a dozen or so images. Before we photograph the cats, dogs, and other animals, we have already shot the locations, sets and props that will be needed. It then takes me roughly a day per image to do the Photoshop compositing and post-art direction fine tuning of the photos. Note the careful attention paid to props. We have, on the kitchen counter, a toaster, bowl of fruit, various food containers, a plant and a hand towel.
