Egrets, Sunsets And God Rays

This image of an egret descending before a background sunset with God rays is a study in elegance and beauty. The image was created primarily as a fine art print but is also available as a stock photo image and as such can be easily cropped to square, horizontal or vertical with copy space for headlines and body text. This image can be a metaphor for purity and is symbolic of nature and freedom. The aspect of purity is enhanced by the pure white color of the bird. The freedom is emphasized by the outstretched wings. I photographed the Egret near my Sausalito Studio. The sky was photographed on the island of Socotra off the coast of Yemen.
