Seeing the lighthouse keeper standing vigil at the railing, and contemplating the seas before him almost puts me in a meditative mood entering my own contemplation on my place in the world and all of the incomprehensible vastness of the universe. Looking at this picture I understand why lighthouse pictures are such appropriate visuals for messages of spiritual guidance as well as the more commercial messages of financial navigation and security offered to businesses and individuals by companies and organizations. Lighthouse are truly representative of the best men have to offer...little wonder they are held in such high regard by people throughout the world.
